About
Hi, I’m Dr. Richard “Ree” Landry
Computational physicist focused on numerical modeling for neuroscience, heat transfer, and medical-device algorithms.
What I do
I build reproducible simulations — stiff ODEs with CVODE/ARKODE, finite volume PDEs, and biologically grounded models of neural dynamics.
- Dopamine neuron modeling: AMPA/NMDA kinetics, Poisson inputs, bursting and tonic regimes.
- Reaction–diffusion: tissue toxicity, Gray–Scott extensions, 2D → 3D roadmaps.
- Numerical tooling: OpenMP profiling, HDF5 output, robust build systems.
